Tutorial: How to do elastic waist for skirts

Step 1: With elastic, measure around little girl's waist and cut.  Don't make this too loose or too tight. 

Step 2: Make a circle with elastic and take a needle and thread and sew about 1inch overlap. Fasten off thread when done.  You will have a circle.

Step 3: Single Crochet around elastic and attach to skirt. It's like doing a hair scrunchie...you sc around the hair band.
