Cotton scrap yarn
"I" hook
Row 1: Ch 86, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st across. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 2: *Skip 2 sts, 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in next st. Skip 2 sts, dc. Repeat from * across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off.
Go back to Row 1, work on opposite side. Attach yarn with a sl st, ch 3. *Skip to hole where other side shell is, 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in that hole. Skip to next hole, dc. Repeat from * across. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
You might need to make this longer it depends on head size. To make longer, use a multiple of 6 plus 2.
