H hook
scrap Phentex yarn (a good substitute would be rug yarn or nylon yarn)
Round 1: Ch 3, 8 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook. Sl st tog.
Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each st around. Sl st tog.
Round 3: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in each st around. Sl st tog.
Round 4: Ch 2, hdc in each st around. Sl st tog.
Rounds 5- 17: Repeat Round 4.
Round 18: Ch 2, hdc in next st. Next, *Hdc dec, hdc. Repeat from * around. (You are just decreasing)
Round 19: Repeat Round 18. Fasten off and leave a tail. Sew the opening closed.
