2 skeins of Peaches and Cream Cotton yarn
H hook
Gauge: 5 sc per 1" approx.
Sizing: my daughter wears a size 4/5
After washing measurements: Top 8" wide. Whole outfit- 13" long. Skirt 23" around
Top part:
Row 1: Ch 31, hdc in 3rd ch from hook. Hdc in each st across, ch 2 and turn.
Row 2: Hdc in each st across. Back Loops Only
Row 3-9: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off.
Set aside top.
Bottom: work in round
Round 1: Ch 70, sl st tog to form a ring. Be careful not to twist.
Round 2: Ch 2, hdc in each st around. Back Loops Only. Sl st tog.
Round 3: Ch 3, dc, ch 3, 2dc all in same st. *Skip 3 sts, 2dc-ch3-2dc in next st. Repeat from * around. End with skip 4 sts, sl st to 1st dc.
Round 4: *Sl st over to ch 3 sp, 2dc-ch3-2dc in that sp. Repeat from * around. Sl st tog.
Round 5-11: Repeat Round 4.
Round 12: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Fasten off.
Sew the top to the bottom inside out. Then do 5dc shell around the top.
Straps: Make 2:
Ch 43, sl st in 2nd st from the hook. Sl st in each st down to original ch 1. Fasten off. Leave small tail to sew strap to top.
