This is for the regular size My Little Pony.
F Hook
Scrap baby yarn
1 Goody small hair band
Round 1: Attach yarn with a sl st to the hair band. Ch 1, then ch 27 around the hair band. Sl st tog.
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Back Loops Only. Work in rounds.
Round 3: Repeat Round 2. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Round 4: Now go back to the first Round, work in Front Loops and sc around. Work in rounds.
Round 5-8: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Back Loops Only. Work in rounds (no sl st tog)
Round 9-12: Ch 1, sc around, but decrease. (I didn't count, but I steadily decreased in each round until I was able to close the top on Round 12. Then fasten off and weave in ends.
Go back to edge of bottom rim of hat. 2 sc in the Back Loops only of each st in Round 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.
For Band of hat: Cut 3 12" pieces of yarn. Leave a 3" tail, tie a knot and braid the yarn. Tie off other end also leaving a 3" tail. Wrap band around hat and tie. Leave tail streaming into Pony's hair.
