Men's Velvet Thong

Men's Velvet Thong
If you post a picture somewhere else on the internet of an item that you have made from my patterns, please be kind to provide the direct link to my website. Do not change names of my patterns. I’ve worked hard on these patterns and changing the name does not change the pattern. This is a copyrighted pattern. Be respectful of that fact.
1 skein (40 gr) Lion Brand chenille (the small chenille) I used "Russet" color.
K hook
Size: medium
Row 1: Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Back Loops Only. Sc across in every stitch. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Sc in Both Loops in every st across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Repeat Row 2.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1. Sc in each st across. Sc in the very last loops on the edge. Ch 1, turn.
Row 5-23: Repeat Row 4. You are increasing in every row, so it will grow to be a triangle.
At the end of Row 23, sc down the side. Turn, sc back. Fasten off. Now repeat the process on the other side of the triangle. This just adds 2 rows of sc on either side.
Sc across the starting row in the front loops. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Thong strap: Attach yarn with a sl st to the center st of the Row 1. Ch 50, fold over 2" and make a loop. Sew the end to the ch and fasten off.
Side Chains: In either corner of triangle, ch 60. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
