Little Girl’s tube top with straps

Little Girl’s tube top with straps

If you post a picture somewhere else on the internet of an item that you have made from my patterns, please be kind to provide the direct link to my website.  Do not change names of my patterns.  I’ve worked hard on these patterns and changing the name does not change the pattern.  This is a copyrighted pattern.  Be respectful of that fact.

I used a H hook 1 skein of cotton pink bumpy yarn. I worked from the bottom up on this pattern. I added the shell to the bottom at the end.
Ch 62, slip st tog, ch 3. Dc around, slip st tog and ch 3. Dc around, slip st tog and ch 3. Do one more row of Dc around, slip st tog and ch 3. *Skip next st, 2dc in next st. Repeat from * around, slip st tog. Do 2 dc in space between the dc’s of each 2-dc group of previous row, ending 1 dc beside starting ch 3. Slip st tog and Ch 3. Repeat the last row 3 more times. On last row, don’t do ch 3. Do ch 1 and sc around, slip st tog. Sc in next stitch and then start your shells. (This is the top of the tube.) I used 7 dc and 2 spaces skipped around. I did the same shells around the bottom. The straps: ch 23, sc in 2nd ch from the hook and sc across, ch 1 and turn. Sc across and fasten off. Weave in ends.

I’ve done the best I can to write things out. I’m not very good at this. Sorry! My daughter is 3 years old and wears a 4T shirt, if that helps with sizing.
