I hook
2 skeins 50 grams ? Acrylic-Wool blend yarn (no wrapper on the skeins)
This scarf is worked lengthwise. It's made for an adult....my model is only 3 1/2 yrs old.
Row 1: Ch 223, in 4th ch from hook do (2 dc, ch 1, 1 dc), *skip 3 ch, in next ch work (3 dc, ch 1, 1 dc); rep from *, ending 1 dc in last ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Under first ch 1 from previous row work (3dc, ch 1, 1 dc), *under next ch 1 work (3dc, ch1, 1 dc); rep from *, ending pat with 1 dc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- 7: Repeat Row 2 for stitch pattern. Fasten off and weave in ends.
I did fringe on the ends. You could leave it blank if you desired.
