Ipod Cozy

IPod Cozy

If you post a picture somewhere else on the internet of an item that you have made from my patterns, please be kind to provide the direct link to my website.  Do not change names of my patterns.  I’ve worked hard on these patterns and changing the name does not change the pattern.  This is a copyrighted pattern.  Be respectful of that fact.

My hubby finally got an IPod. I made him a cozy for it.
G hook and scrap Navy blue WW yarn
Back: ch 14. Row 1- 2 dc in 4th ch from the hook, *skip a st, 2 dc in next st. Repeat from * across. End with a dc in last st, ch 3 and turn. Row 2- *skip a st, 2 dc in next st. Repeat from * across. End with a dc in last st, ch 3 and turn. Row 3-8- Repeat row 2. On Row 8 do not ch 3, but ch 1 and turn. Row 9- sc in next 3 holes, dc in next 4 sts, sc in last 4 sts. Fasten off.

Make 3 straps. Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. Fasten off. Sew 1 strap at the top, leaving a hole on the left from the on/off switch. Leave a hole on the right for the ear phones hole. Sew another strap in the middle and the last strap on the bottom. Leave a hole on the bottom for the cable hole.
I also added a row of sc around the top square to tighten it around the Ipod. I didn’t add it to the bottom part so that you can take the Ipod out of the cozy.
