Felted Earring Holder
I used scrap 100% wool. I had 2 small skeins. I would say approx. 3 oz total.
H hook
Purple Rows 1-4, Burgundy Rows 5-14, Purple Rows 15-18 and purple on the strap.
Row 1: Ch 40, hdc in 3rd ch from the hook. Hdc in each st across. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Hdc in each st across, ch 2 and turn.
Rows 3-18: Repeat Row 2. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Turn the rectangle lengthwise, attach yarn to one corner at the top. Ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from the hook and in each st across. Ch 1, turn. Row 2: Sc in each st across. Leave tail and sew to the other side.
Now felt in washer. I washed this 3 times to felt it this way. I forgot to take a picture of before. I'm deeply sorry.
When I went to put on the buttons for my daughter's inital, I sewed the two halves of the strap in the center with that button. Then I sewed the rest of the buttons on to look like an "S".
