Door Knob Cover

Door Knob cover

If you post a picture somewhere else on the internet of an item that you have made from my patterns, please be kind to provide the direct link to my website.  Do not change names of my patterns.  I’ve worked hard on these patterns and changing the name does not change the pattern.  This is a copyrighted pattern.  Be respectful of that fact.

Ever need to protect something…well, I needed to protect my glass curio cabinet. It’s a little close to a closet door. So I whipped up this door knob cover. It works.

I used a H hook and some leftover variegated yarn.
Ch 4, slip st tog. 13 dc in ring, slip st tog. Ch 2, 2dc in each st around and slip st tog. Ch 2, dc in each stitch around, slip st tog and ch 2. Dc in each stitch around, slip st tog and ch2. *Skip st, hdc in next stitch, repeat from * around. Fasten off and weave in ends. Chain a long enough chain to go around the circle and through the hdc stitches. Place over door knob and tie the chain into a bow
