Doll Shorts

Doll Shorts

If you post a picture somewhere else on the internet of an item that you have made from my patterns, please be kind to provide the direct link to my website.  Do not change names of my patterns.  I’ve worked hard on these patterns and changing the name does not change the pattern.  This is a copyrighted pattern.  Be respectful of that fact.

13" doll (the doll I used is a Mattel 1992 blonde doll-I do not know the name)

Round 1: Ch 28, sl st tog to form a ring. Be careful not to turn. Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in each st across. Sl st tog to the first sc, not the ch 2.  Do this throughout the pants.  It makes it that you don't have holes.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same st and sc in every st around. Sl st tog.

Round 3-5: Repeat Round 2.

1st Leg Round 6: Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in next 14 sts (halfway around)Now, sl st to the first sc.  This makes the first leg hole.

1st leg Round 7-9: Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in every st around.

1st leg Round 10: (I changed colors) Edging: Ch 1, sc in every st around.   Fasten off and weave in ends.

2nd leg Round 6: Attach yarn with a sl st to front of pants right by the first leg, now sc around (14 sts). Sl st to original sc.

2nd leg Round 7 -9: Ch 1, sc in same st. Sc in every st around.

2nd leg Round 10: Edging: Ch 1, sc in every st around.  Fasten off and weave in ends.

Now sew up crotch area with leftover strings underneath.

Measure 1/4" elastic around doll's waist, cut and sew ends tog to form a ring. Single crochet elastic to first sc row front loops. Fasten off and weave in ends.
