Scrap worsted weight yarn
Ch 5, slip st tog to create a ring.
Ch 3, count this as first dc. Dc 3 more times in ring, ch 2 and dc 4 times and turn. Slip st in between the 1st dc and the 2nd dc, ch 3 and dc 3 more times. 3 dc in corner, ch 2, 3 more dc (this makes the corner). Do 4 dc in between the 3rd and 4th dc from the bottom chain, turn. Follow the granny square pattern…for a total of 5 rows.
Straps: Ch 17, sl st back down to the triangle. Fasten off and weave in ends. Do same thing on other side.
