G hook and scrap cotton yarn
Ch 4, sl st tog to make a ring. Row 1: Ch 3, then do 12 dc in the ring, sl st
tog. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st and then do 2 dc in each remaining st, sl st
tog. Row 3: Work in back loops only, ch 3, dc in each st around, sl st tog. Row
4: Ch 3, skip next st, dc, then cross the front of the dc just made and dc in
the skipped st. Repeat the cross stitch around, sl st tog to the ch 3. Rows 5-8:
Repeat row 4. Edging: ch 1, *skip 1 st, do 5 dc in next st, skip next st, sc in
next st. Repeat from *around.
